SOUS CHEF in Hertfordshire, Anglia, Hotel

Key Duties:

Be able to work under pressure
· Kitchen management
· Ordering
· General service
· Good communication skills
· Flexibility
· Minimum level 2 food hygiene, this can be taken at a later stage
· Keeping the kitchen clean and organised


  • Salary: £29,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
  • 5 weeks holidays (working key date)

· Cooking: 2 years (Preferred)
· Line Cook: 2 years (Preferred)

Job Duties:
Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
Follow recipes and presentation specifications
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safetystandards

Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
Restock items as needed throughout the shift
Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards

Additional Duties:
· Menu planning
· Recording food temperatures
